What differentiates Bertram from other attorneys is that he says he has your best interest in mind and means it. Bertram represented me in a civil case against my former landlord in which he was able to negotiate a favorable settlement. He also advised me in another civil suit that was also successful. During my time with Bertram I could always count on him for honest and straightforward advice. Bertram is attentive, hard working, detail-orientated and committed to the personal welfare of this clients. Bertram is the best!

No-nonsense, straight to the point, thorough, tenacious/persevering and very professional… these are the words I would use to describe Bertram Okpokwasili. From the start Bertram spoke clearly and concisely making it very easy to understand his points. He also has a wonderful ability to put his clients at ease with his warm and confident demeanor. Upon writing the many drafts of the contract to the eventual contract signing, which was negotiated as much as possible in our favor and explained to me in detail- I felt very confident having Mr. Okpokwasili represent me as he was very hands on in every aspect of the case and truly cared about the outcome. Bertram is also very considerate always making himself available when needed and really went above and beyond. He is a great listener, always taking what I’ve said into account and is quick to take action. Which is a refreshing quality that cannot be said about many attorneys. I will began this review by saying that Bertram was an angel sent from heaven for me in the lowest and most saddest part of my life! I was arrested 2010 and was facing multiple drug conspiracy charges and a min of 5-20 years in federal prison! I thought my life was over. Then my family hired Bertram Okpokwasili, after hearing great stories about how much of a great lawyer he was to other prisoners facing similar or greater charges then me, so we decided to hire him and that was the best decision ever! He got me out with time served in 27 months and I got a minimum of 1-2 visits a week from Bertram during these 27months which made me feel I was not alone in the case! Bertram fought for my freedom and is considered not only a friend but also family to all my loved ones for the great work he did for me. Once again best lawyer ever.
